Role Description The Quality Assurance Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of Webstrails software products. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed test cases, performing manual testing across web applications and integrations, documenting defects, and collaborating with developers and product teams to validate fixes and improvements.
The role involves participating in release cycles, reviewing requirements and specifications for testability, and helping to refine QA processes and standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, working closely with cross-functional teams to support robust, secure solutions for dental practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with experience applying QA methodologies across the software development lifecycle.
Hands-on skills in Manual Testing and Test Execution, including functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
Ability to design, write, and maintain clear and comprehensive Test Cases and test documentation.
Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail or similar), and experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Understanding of web applications, APIs, and data integrations; experience testing SaaS or enterprise solutions is an advantage.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Exposure to automation testing tools or scripting (e.g., Selenium, Python, or similar) is beneficial, as is familiarity with healthcare or dental technology domains. .
