Job Description

QUALITY AUTOMATION SPECIALIST 

 

Key Responsibilities: 
Design, plan, and execute comprehensive functional test scenarios across low code/no code business applications and automation workflows, ensuring high quality and reliable product delivery. 
Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation tools. 
Build and execute automated regression suites, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure consistent test execution quality. 
Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment throughout delivery. 
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent frameworks to validate backend services and integrations. 
 Participate in and contribute to Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives), promoting quality first practices. 
Lead defect triage and root cause analysis to ensure effective resolution and continuous improvement. 
Create and maintain structured documentation, including test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and test reports in tools like Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, etc. 
 
Required Skills & Qualifications 
78 years of hands on experience in software testing, with strong functional testing and test automation expertise. 
Solid experience in automation scripting using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks. 
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile processes, test strategies, and test lifecycle management. 
Working knowledge of API testing frameworks and tooling (Postman, REST Assured, etc.). 
Good exposure to low code/no code platforms, automation workflows, and enterprise application ecosystems. 
Experience working with CI/CD and version control tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar. 
Strong analytical, problem solving, debugging, and documentation skills. 
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams. 
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high quality outcomes in fast paced environments.
