Job Summary
The selected candidate will develop and execute automated web application tests using Cypress, ensure integration with version control and CI/CD tools, and optionally contribute to Python-based test framework development. The role also involves understanding web technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Cypress automation test scripts using JavaScript.
Utilize Cypress APIs, commands, and best practices for productive automation.
Validate web application functionality by understanding HTML, CSS, and DOM structures.
Integrate automation scripts with Git version control and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Optionally contribute to Python scripting for test automation and data validation.
Apply SQL and database knowledge for data-driven testing.
Assist in the development of custom test frameworks and utilities.
Requirements
Robust JavaScript programming skills.
Hands-on experience with the Cypress Framework, including API usage and commands.
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM.
Experience with version control (Git).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar).
Python programming experience (scripting and object-oriented).
Hands-on with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation.
Understanding of Database concepts and SQL.
Experience in developing custom test frameworks.
