Quality Engineering Lead

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the quality engineering strategy, including test automation frameworks, shift-left testing, and CI/CD-integrated quality gates
- Lead and mentor a team of quality/automation engineers, setting technical direction and reviewing deliverables
- Architect and oversee automation frameworks for functional, API, performance, and regression testing
- Partner with development teams to embed quality practices early in the software development lifecycle
- Define and track quality engineering metrics including defect leakage, automation coverage, and release quality trends
- Drive adoption of performance testing, security testing, and non-functional quality practices across projects
- Evaluate and introduce quality engineering tools, frameworks, and practices to improve efficiency and coverage
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct quality reviews and audits to ensure adherence to engineering and testing best practices
- Present quality engineering roadmaps, metrics, and improvement plans to senior leadership
