Role Description The R2R (Record-to-Report) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mysuru. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting and reporting activities, including posting journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and ensuring accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes. The R2R professional will prepare financial statements, analyze variances, support audits, and maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, resolving discrepancies, improving process efficiency, and providing timely and reliable financial information to support business decisions. Qualifications Strong foundation in general ledger accounting, journal entry processing, and account reconciliation. Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis. Knowledge of accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS), internal controls, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced skills in MS Excel. Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global and cross-functional teams. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage. Prior experience in shared services, R2R, or corporate finance within logistics or similar industries is preferred. .
