01Overview
Role Objective- Strengthen formulation development, process optimisation and plant-level technical problem-solving by combining deep chemical and polymer knowledge with advanced AI-enabled research capabilities.
Qualifications- B.Tech, M.Tech or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Petrochemicals or Applied Chemistry.
Experience 10+ years of hands-on R&D or Process Engineering experience in polymers, petrochemicals, resins or coatings. Direct EPS experience is highly preferred.
AI & Research Skills Proficient in advanced AI tools for technical research, literature and patent review, data analysis, process modelling, comparative studies and rapid preparation of technical reports.
Core Responsibilities Lead formulation development, raw-material evaluation, troubleshooting of issues such as suspension instability and lump formation, and execution of safe, systematic scale-up trials.
Collaboration Work closely with Production, Quality Control, Maintenance and Projects teams to convert laboratory and research insights into measurable plant-floor improvements.
Key Traits Highly analytical and scientifically oriented, with strong plant-floor exposure and the ability to independently lead technology adoption, structured experimentation and R&D initiatives.
Preferred Industry Background: EPS, polymers, plastics, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, resins, coatings or allied chemical-process manufacturing.
