01Responsibilities
Retrieves medical records from hospitals, healthcare providers, or practice groups and attaches information to the appropriate documents as needed. Retrieves explanation of benefits from proprietary software and attaches to the appropriate documents, such as claim forms. Retrieves supporting documentation from proprietary software and prepares for mailing. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to effectively use payer websites and Laserfiche Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of Crystal reports and various billing systems, such as NextGen, Pro, Epic and Veradigm preferred Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Keen attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Excellent organizational skills Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence and to effectively present information in a one-on-one and/or small group situations, such as clients, patients, and other employees in the organization Benefits Veradigm believes in empowering our associates with the tools and flexibility to bring the best version of themselves to work.
