Overview
As a React Developer specializing in Pega Constellation UI architecture, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing modern, responsive, and scalable user interfaces integrated with the Pega Platform. Your responsibilities will include:
- Front-End Development:
- Developing dynamic, reusable, and scalable UI components using React.js.
- Implementing responsive web applications with modern CSS frameworks.
- Integrating front-end applications with Pega Constellation DX APIs.
- Customizing and extending Pega Constellation components as needed.
- Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Pega Constellation Integration:
- Working with Pega Constellation architecture and headless UI models.
- Consuming Pega DX APIs to render case data and workflows in custom React applications.
- Collaborating with Pega System Architects for seamless backend integration.
- Implementing secure authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, SSO, and JWT.
- Optimizing API interactions for efficient data rendering.
- Architecture & Design:
- Participating in UI/UX design discussions and translating designs into high-quality code.
- Defining front-end architecture and coding standards.
- Ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable code structure.
- Following enterprise design patterns and accessibility standards.
- Performance & Optimization:
- Optimizing application performance and loading times.
- Implementing techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and performance best practices.
- Ensuring application security and preventing common vulnerabilities.
- Collaboration & Agile Delivery:
- Working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Participating in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Conducting peer code reviews.
- Providing technical guidance to junior developers.
Qualifications Required for this role:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 58+ years of experience in front-end development.
- 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with React.js.
- Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation architecture and DX APIs.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React Hooks, Context API, Redux / State management libraries, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, REST API integration.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
Preferred Qualifications for this role:
- Experience with Pega Platform (v8.x+), TypeScript, Next.js or similar frameworks, Material UI / Bootstrap / Tailwind, Micro-frontend architecture, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Pega guardrails and case lifecycle concepts.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
