The Regional Collection Manager-Call Centre position in Mumbai within the Retail Banking unit involves minimizing losses to the bank by maximizing debt recovery. You will devise strategies, collaborate with various stakeholders, and lead effective staff to achieve this objective. Your role will require extensive interaction with Business Heads, Finance, HR, and Collection Heads to craft optimal plans for minimizing losses in Retail and Rural products. By reducing losses, you will enhance profits and contribute to the bank's overall organizational goals. This role is crucial as it directly impacts the financial institution's budget planning.Responsibilities include designing strategies to minimize losses through effective debt recovery using call centers, creating campaigns aligned with the collection strategy, collaborating with external vendor agencies, and driving initiatives to prevent fraud. You will also focus on process efficiency by employing tools like automation and digital initiatives, analyzing delinquencies, ensuring internal compliance and regulatory adherence, and collaborating with the Head of Collections to reduce net credit loss and delinquency metrics. Additionally, you will be responsible for training off-roll manpower for optimal performance.In terms of managerial and leadership responsibilities, you will recommend process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency within your region. You will also suggest enhancements to processes and policies in Retail Banking to boost operational efficiencies and deliver high-quality customer service. Leveraging internal synergies through collaboration with stakeholders and attracting top talent for key roles within your reporting structure will be part of your leadership role.Educationally, you should hold a graduate degree and preferably an MBA.
