Role & responsibilities
Has to handle Sea Freight Pricing for North and east region
Carrier management
- Develop and maintain solid business relationships with the national ocean industry including core and trade carrier providers.
- To execute core carrier policy, to negotiate rates and align with global and/or regional trade managers, to support business growth and sustainable recent customers.
- To ensure regular visits together with BD in the countries and region of responsibility and ensure extensive market knowledge, pricing levels and trends to build a proper prediction of procurement requirements of the market.
- Ensure adequate securing of capacity and equipment at the right price level to ensure the profitability of the business managed by the country.
- To monitor performance against awards and align with regions and global ocean product on actions, initiatives and strategy.
- Ensure Ocean pricing door to door is executed with accuracy and competitiveness to serve growth
