Job Title: Area Manager Location: Solapur, Maharashtra Industry: Insurance Department: BFSI, Investments & Trading Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Role Category: General Insurance Education Requirement: Graduate (Any Discipline) Experience Requirements - Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Insurance Sales.
At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing field sales teams.Strong understanding of General Insurance products and sales processes.Experience in team handling, business development, and target achievement.Prior experience in agency, direct sales, or distribution channels will be preferred.Marathi (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of field sales executives/advisors.
Drive team performance to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.Conduct regular coaching sessions, training programs, and performance reviews.Monitor daily sales activities and ensure effective execution of sales strategies.Support team members in lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.Identify new business opportunities and contribute to market expansion in Solapur and nearby areas.Track team productivity and ensure adherence to company policies and compliance requirements.Prepare and share regular sales performance reports with management.
