Overview
As a Team Leader in the Financial Services sector, your role will involve leading a team to exceed sales targets and effectively manage client relationships. You will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and advising High Net Worth Individuals (HNI) in various asset classes such as Debt, Alternate Assets, Equity, Mutual Funds, PMS, PE, Bonds, Structured Products, and Broking. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building a wealth manager team
- Generating leads and developing prospects while expanding the client base through networking and referrals
- Understanding the investment and financial needs as well as the risk appetite of clients to create and manage a long-term Asset Allocation plan
- Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities with existing clients
- Handling clients' investment portfolios, providing financial research, accurate information, and customized financial solutions
- Motivating the team to achieve defined targets and ensuring retention of current manpower
- Providing initial handholding to Relationship Managers and participating in joint calls on High-Value prospects/converted clients
- Driving and tracking sales processes and maintaining sales discipline across all team members
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in private banking or wealth management
- A degree in economics, accounting, finance, or business management from a reputable university
- A solid understanding of investment products and asset classes
- An extensive network of clients, including Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI), High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), family offices, and institutions
- Strong communication skills
