Regression Tester

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and execute regression test suites covering core application functionality across releases
- Analyze release notes, change requests, and defect fixes to identify impacted areas requiring regression coverage
- Execute manual and/or automated regression test cycles within defined release timelines
- Log, track, and manage regression defects through resolution using standard defect tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers and functional testers to validate fixes and confirm no new issues are introduced
- Continuously update and optimize the regression test suite to reflect application changes and reduce redundancy
- Support automation teams by identifying candidate test cases for regression automation
- Prepare regression test summary reports and communicate release readiness status to stakeholders
- Participate in release planning and sign-off meetings, providing regression risk assessments
- Contribute to building reusable regression test assets and checklists for future releases
