Relationship Manager-Bancassurance (Asansol)

Channel: Bancassurance (BOI & UBI) Industry: Life InsuranceJob PurposeTo drive life insurance business through assigned bank branches by building strong relationships with bank staff, sourcing quality leads, and converting them into life insurance policies while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance.Key Responsibilities - Generate life insurance business through assigned bank branches by engaging with bank staff and customers. - Build and maintain strong working relationships with Branch Managers, Relationship Officers, and Tellers. - Conduct joint customer calls with bank staff to identify insurance needs and provide suitable life insurance solutions. - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for premium, policies, and activations. - Conduct product training and sales activation programs for bank employees to improve referral quality. - Ensure end-to-end sales support, including proposal filling, documentation, medical coordination, and policy issuance. - Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring timely follow-ups and post-sales support. - Adhere strictly to IRDAI guidelines, company policies, and compliance requirements. - Maintain accurate MIS reports, sales trackers, and pipeline updates. - Participate in branch meetings, sales reviews, and performance discussions. Key Skills & Competencies - Strong sales and persuasion skills - Good communication and interpersonal abilities - Relationship management and stakeholder coordination - Customer-centric approach - Basic understanding of life insurance products - Target-driven and result-oriented mindset Eligibility Criteria - Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred) - Experience: - 15 years of experience in Life Insurance Sales / Bancassurance / CASA / Financial Products - Freshers with strong sales aptitude may be considered for junior roles - Age: As per company norms Preferred Background - Experience in Bancassurance, Agency, or Direct Sales from Life Insurance companies - Exposure to bank-based selling workplace - Knowledge of ULIP, Term, Savings, and Protection products .
