Relationship Manager-International FIG

Job Requirements About the RoleAs a Relationship Manager International FIG, based in Mumbai, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with correspondent banks and financial institutions across Europe. This role involves driving revenue through trade products, Vostro accounts, and strategic initiatives, while ensuring seamless service delivery and compliance. You will also support internal teams by facilitating international transactions and maintaining strong credit and risk oversight. Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesManage and grow relationships with European correspondent banks and financial institutions.Acquire new banking relationships in the region to generate revenue from Bank Guarantees (BGs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and Net Interest Income (NII) from Vostro accounts.Own revenue targets and track key business metrics including CASA balances, trade volumes, Nostro activity, and treasury flows.Conduct credit analysis and underwriting of limits on foreign banks and sovereigns; address queries from FI Risk and Early Warning teams.Handle transaction-related queries and coordinate with Trade Sales, Operations, and Service teams to ensure smooth execution.Manage KYC and AML processes during onboarding and renewal of foreign bank relationships.Support internal coverage teams by facilitating their international transaction needs through correspondent banks.Secondary ResponsibilitiesEnhance INR Vostro product functionality to grow current account balances from correspondent banks.Address compliance and internal audit queries related to International FIG. What We Are Looking ForEducationGraduate in any discipline (mandatory)Postgraduate qualification in Finance or related field (preferred)ExperiencePrior experience in international banking, financial institutions coverage, or trade financeExposure to European banking markets is a strong advantageSkills and AttributesStrong relationship management and client servicing skillsUnderstanding of trade products, Vostro/Nostro accounts, and treasury flowsBasic knowledge of financial statements and macroeconomicsFamiliarity with KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance processesExcellent coordination and communication skillsAnalytical mindset with a focus on revenue growth and risk management .
