Role Overview
As a Corporate Relationship Manager, your main purpose is to manage and expand relationships with large corporate clients by providing them with comprehensive financial solutions. This includes offering working capital, term loans, trade finance, treasury, and transaction banking services. Your ultimate goal is to ensure high customer satisfaction, income growth, and portfolio quality while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Manage and deepen relationships with large corporate clients having a turnover typically above 1000 Cr+.
- Act as a single point of contact for all banking needs of the corporate client.
- Maintain regular engagement with CXO-level contacts in client organizations.
- Business Development:
- Identify, target, and acquire current large corporates to expand the portfolio.
- Cross-sell products such as trade finance, cash management, treasury, debt syndication, and capital market solutions.
- Prepare client account plans with defined strategies for wallet share growth.
- Credit & Risk Analysis:
- Analyze financials, industry, business models, and structure appropriate credit facilities.
- Prepare detailed credit proposals and present them to internal credit committees.
- Monitor asset quality, conduct periodic reviews, and take proactive measures for early warning signals.
- Internal Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams like Credit, Legal, Risk, Treasury, Trade, and Operations for efficient client servicing.
- Ensure timely onboarding, documentation, limit setting, and compliance adherence.
- Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, RBI regulations, KYC norms, and anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines.
- Maintain audit readiness and risk mitigation practices across the portfolio.
