They are seeking an Account Manager who will manage client relationships, lead tax compliance efforts, and drive business development in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Manage a book of 50+ clients, providing them with expert tax advice, quarterly planning, and ongoing business development Lead and mentor a team of staff accountants and junior managers to ensure timely, accurate deliverables and seamless client service Prepare, review, and finalize personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns while staying up to date with tax laws Identify new business opportunities, expand firm services, and contribute to our practices development by cultivating strong client relationships Drive improvements in processes, collaborate on firm goals, and embrace change to ensure were always at the forefront of the industry Skills 5+ years in public accounting with a strong focus on tax, including managing client relationships and leading teams CPA or EA certification required, with a strong commitment to obtaining it promptly if not already obtained Proficient in tax research, business consulting, and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, colleagues, and firm leadership Enthusiastic about continuous learning and applying new software, processes, and strategies to improve efficiency A passion for mentoring others, maintaining professional development, and growing within the firm Proficient in software programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Qount, and tax-related tools Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance Cafeteria/Section 125 Plan Retirement/401(k) Employer match with 100% vesting on day one of eligibility Paid Vacation Starting at 2 weeks, available for use from day one Paid Personal Time (PTO) 32 hours available to use from day one Paid Holidays New Years Day, The First Friday after April 15th, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (if it falls during the work week), and Christmas Day Commission incentives when earnings exceed annual compensation Company Overview Kaizen CPAs + Advisors is a financial firm that provides accounting, tax management, payroll, and information technology services.
