The Equipment Finance Director of Business Development will actively grow the equipment leasing segment and develop relationships within various industries such as Healthcare and IT/Telecom.ResponsibilitiesActively prospecting and developing new vendor and lessee relationshipsDrives the volume and further penetration in existing vendor and lessee relationshipsPursues vendor and manufacturing relationships that can produce at least $3MM annuallyAssists vendor salespeople with leasing sales training on a regular basis through sales meetings, conference calls, tradeshows, and scheduled one-on-one phone callsDevelops strong business relationships with both senior management and day-to-day contacts at established and newly developed vendor customersWorks with existing vendors to enhance their standing programsAttends various trade shows nationwide as requiredEnsures all new programs are properly administered and communicatedCollaborates with Equipment Finances management and support team to drive initiativesPractices ethical sales behaviors in accordance with Ameris' core values of Integrity and Honesty; always acts in the best interest of the customer when offering additional products and servicesSkillsBackground in equipment leasingExperience in banking/financing and consultative salesVerifiable and documented track record of successMonthly and annual growth rate of 20% from existing vendor relationshipsVolume: Monthly and annual stated volume objectives TBDMinimum of 5 years equipment finance industry experienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredTransferable book of business from $3MM annually or greater preferredKnowledge with CRM software programs, Salesforce preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceAmeris Bank absorbs a major portion of the cost of healthcare.
