Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the origination and execution of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, such as valuation modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
- Prepare client presentation materials like pitch books, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations.
- Perform extensive due diligence on target companies and conduct market research to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Support senior bankers in client meetings, negotiations, and transaction closings.
- Monitor market trends and economic conditions to provide insights to the team and clients.
- Maintain relationships with clients and intermediaries.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field, with a strong academic record.
- Prior internship experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including complex financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere, with a preference for a strong understanding of the Indian financial markets and any prior experience within the Vadodara, Gujarat, IN financial sector would be beneficial.
