My Valuable Business, LLC (MVB) is a professional services firm that provides fractional CFO, accounting, marketing, HR, and business advisory services. They are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support the CFO and Financial Services team by producing client reporting, analyzing financial performance, and building financial models while developing the skills necessary to advance into an Advisor role.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain recurring monthly client reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI reportsUpdate financial models, forecasts, and Excel-based planning toolsAnalyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reportsIdentify trends, variances, anomalies, and opportunities within client financial dataValidate financial data and identify potential reporting or data-quality issuesApply MVB's O2M methodology to financial information and assist in developing recommendations for clientsDraft financial insights, observations, and action items for review by senior advisorsSupport budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis projectsAssist with special projects, ad hoc analyses, and client deliverables as assignedPrepare materials and supporting analysis for client meetings and financial reviewsDocument meeting notes, follow-up items, and action plans resulting from client discussionsContinuously identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, efficiency, and consistencyCollaborate closely with accounting, advisory, and leadership teams to support client successSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, financial analysis, or a related roleStrong understanding of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formatting, and data analysisStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret financial data and communicate findings clearlyExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated willingness to learn, receive feedback, and develop professionallyMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipMust pass a criminal background checkBenefitsFlexible Time Off (FTO): Unlimited paid time off to support work-life balanceComprehensive Health Coverage: 100% employer-paid medical, dental and vision insurance (once full-time)Paid Federal HolidaysThanksgiving Week Time Off: Tuesday through Friday offYear-End Closure: Closed from Christmas Eve through after New Years DayPaid Parental Leave (once full-time)Career Development: Access to training and growth opportunitiesFlexible, Remote-First Work Environment: Work from anywhere in the U.S. with flexible start and stop timesProvided Equipment: All necessary equipment suppliedCompany OverviewYoure the CEOthe quarterback of your business.
