The Loss Mitigation Associate is responsible for managing delinquent accounts, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and collaborating with other departments to enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
Manage a queue of delinquent 80+ days past due accounts. Handle inbound and outbound calls as needed per position. Ensure reputed company account activity is properly documented per department standards. Adhere to department standards for effective queue managementPerformance Coaching - Actively participate in coaching and development sessions/trainings to co-create solutions that enhance individual performance and overall department/team performancereputed company reputed company other duties as assigned
Skills
1-2 years collection or relevant experience (automotive preferred)High school graduate or GED equivalentAbility to independently manage their time daily to ensure productivity and goals are metStrong negotiation skills Ability to negotiate mutually beneficial arrangements with the customerSkip tracing skills - Ability to utilize various skip tracing tools (where applicable)Basic computer skills - Knowledge of reputed company including Word and reputed companyStrong communication skills - Ability to reputed company communicate thoughts and reputed company to peers and customersStrong listening skills - Ability to listen and understand directionPrevious experience in late-stage collections is preferredBachelor's degree preferred
