Job SummaryThe Elite Job is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Remote Medical Coder Entry Level. Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately review and assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) to patient diagnoses and procedures.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company coding policies.
Input data into healthcare records systems with high accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with coding supervisors and quality assurance teams to ensure ongoing accuracy.
Research and resolve coding discrepancies when flagged.
Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.
Required Skills and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (required).
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel).
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them in practice.
Self-motivated with excellent time management capabilities.
ExperienceNo previous experience required this is an entry-level position.
Prior background in healthcare, life sciences, or administrative roles is a plus but not mandatory.
Fresh graduates and career switchers are encouraged to apply.
Training will be provided as part of the onboarding process.
Working HoursFlexible shift options available (Full-time preferred).
Typical work hours: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM or as per project requirements.
Monday to Friday; occasional weekend work may be requested based on project deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to work independently in a remote environment.
High sense of confidentiality and integrity regarding patient data.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the healthcare industry.
Understanding of medical terminology (preferred but not mandatorytraining provided).
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
