Zillow is a leading real estate platform in the U.S. seeking a Mortgage Funding Coordinator to ensure accurate funding of loans and efficient closing processes. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain service standards and assist borrowers in achieving homeownership.ResponsibilitiesInitiate the wire transfer to disburse loan funds and review/approve executed closing documents to ensure a smooth, stress-free closing for our borrowersReview closing documentation and validate data within our Loan Origination System (Encompass)Initiate the wire for release to the settlement agent and ensure management is notified for wire approvalReview and approve signed closing documents, notifying the settlement agent to release fundsCommunicate (Phone/Email) with the Settlement Agent if additional conditions are requiredRegister the loan in the MERS systemCollaborate with other Post-Closing team members to ensure the timely completion of all daily dutiesMaintain company service level and turn-time standards, including return-call times, return-email times, and task completion timesSkills1+ years of experience in mortgage processing, closing, or post-closingMeticulous and quality-focused, taking pride in your workThrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage pressure and meet deadlinesProactively resolves problems in a dynamic, process-centered environmentOutstanding attention to detail and strong time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Google SuiteWillingness to work overtime as neededCompany OverviewZillow is an online real estate marketplace for finding and sharing information about homes, real estate, and mortgages.
