The Senior Account Manager is responsible for new voluntary product implementations and ongoing account management support for mid to large-sized clients, ensuring successful benefit implementations and building strong client relationships.ResponsibilitiesLeads appropriate resources to ensure successful voluntary benefit implementations including coordination with technology/platforms, Gallagher Enrollment Solutions or outside enrollment firmsBuilds, expands, and solidifies relationships with the local Gallagher producers & account managers and their clientsLeads client reviews (existing issues, timelines, and future benefit offerings) where appropriateMay coordinate the work of administrative support and customer serviceResponsible for assisting with billing set-up between the client and the providerConducts policy reviews and updates benefit communicationsWorks with Proposals & Analysis team-members on renewals and new Due Diligence where requiredResponsible for the supporting local branch account managers with escalated matters requiring VB expertise and carrier relationshipsLimited client facing travel may be requiredIssue voluntary benefit proposal requests to providers, customizing requests as requiredNegotiate with insurance providers in order to secure the best offer on behalf of the clientProvide detailed review and analysis of insurance provider RFP responsesPrepare Market Scan for each assigned group using tools available to streamline this processCommunicate approved, sold plan designs are client particulars to the Client Services team for implementationMay be responsible for certain clients from the Proposal process, through and including implementation and client servicesSkillsBachelor's degree and 5 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience OR High School degree and 10 years client coordination and/or claims management experienceLicense requiredAble and willing to travel approximately 25% of the timeProfessional designation may be preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARMBenefitsMedical/dental/vision plans, which start from day one!Life and accident insurance401(K) and Roth optionsTax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA)Educational expense reimbursementPaid parental leaveDigital mental health services (Talkspace)Flexible work hours (availability varies by office and job function)Training programsGallagher Thrive program elevating your health through challenges, workshops and digital fitness programs for your overall wellbeingCharitable matching gift programCompany OverviewGallagher is an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm.
