Overview
As a US Bookkeeper at a US-based hospitality consulting firm, your role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Reviewing and validating financial data processed through automated systems and APIs
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of transactions within QuickBooks
- Performing periodic reconciliations and identifying discrepancies
- Monitoring and auditing automated workflows to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborating with internal teams to flag and resolve accounting issues
- Maintaining proper documentation and reporting standards
- Invoice Processing and Vendor Management, including reviewing, coding, and entering invoices into the account system for payment, reconciling vendor statements, generating reports, researching and resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices, and reconciling credit card receipts and payments
- Data Entry
To qualify for this position, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
- 2+ years of proven experience working with QuickBooks
- Prior experience supporting US-based clients
- A strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
- Ability to review and audit automated accounting processes
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Familiarity with reconciliation and audit workflows
- Exposure to API-driven or automated accounting environments
This is a full-time remote position with excellent growth opportunities, working directly with a team based in Utah, USA. The working hours are from 5:30 pm to 2:30 am IST, Monday to Friday, with a CTC of INR 5-6 LPA.
