01Responsibilities
**
As an reputed company Data Entry Specialist Prior Authorization and Utilization Management, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting and performing data entry to maintain and update authorization requests in the utilization management system
* Assisting the utilization management team with ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on authorizations and referrals by policies and guidelines
* Contributing to the authorization review process by documenting necessary medical information such as history, diagnosis, and prognosis based on the referral to the clinical reviewer for determination
* Remaining up-to-date on reputed company, authorization processes, policies, and procedures
* Performing other duties as assigned, including receiving faxes, triaging them, and sending them out to the appropriate teams reputed company the reputed company's HealthPlan
* Supporting the intake department to streamline the intake process
* Entering pertinent claims information from reputed company documents
* Correcting entries where indicated
* Maintaining appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.
* Processing for teams including reputed company Review, Behavioral Health, Medicare, etc.
**Performance Expectations/Metrics:**
* reputed company will process reputed company from 3,500 to 4,000 faxes per day need to get the faxes out to other teams reputed company 1-2 hours of receiving, depending on the reputed company
* 10,000 keystrokes an hour 50 to 60 WPM, reputed company fast-paced team
**Required Skills/Experience:**
* 10,000 keystrokes reputed company per hour needed = between 50 60 WPM. The typing test needs to be attached to the resume
* Ability to be punctual and reliable on the job
* This is an ENTRY-LEVEL role, reputed company is reputed company to new high school graduates/candidates with a retail background, as long as they can pass the typing test and have reputed company availability
* Retail experience may transfer from a schedule expectation reputed company, due to reputed company being reputed company 7 days/week
* reputed company to candidates coming from retail (familiar with the nature of reputed company schedule) with the ability to pass the typing test & process data quickly
* Understanding of medical terminology and insurance is preferred
**Preferred Skills/Experience:**
* 3 months to 1 year of data processing or clerical experience is preferred, but not required
