Role Description This full-time Retail Banker role is a hybrid position based in Chandigarh, with a mix of on-site work at the branch and some work-from-home flexibility. The Retail Banker will support customers with daily banking needs, including opening accounts, processing deposits, and answering inquiries about products and services. The role involves providing accurate information on transactions, resolving customer issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience at every interaction. The Retail Banker will handle routine cash and non-cash transactions, maintain detailed records, and follow regulatory and internal compliance guidelines. This position also includes identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate banking solutions, and contributing to branch sales and service goals.
Qualifications
Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Customer Experience, and Customer Satisfaction.Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.Knowledge of Deposits and basic retail banking products and processes.Attention to detail, accuracy in handling transactions, and adherence to compliance and security standards.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both in-branch duties and remote tasks.Prior experience in banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is beneficial.Basic proficiency with computer systems and banking software; comfort with learning new tools.Preferred education: diploma or degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field. .
