RTR SME / Team Lead 5 YearsLocation: HyderabadExperience: 5 YearsRole: RTR SME / Team LeadShift: US / Night ShiftWork Mode: Work From OfficeJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced RTR (Record to Report) SME / Team Lead with 5 years of experience in General Accounting and R2R operations. The candidate should have strong expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and process management.Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities.
- Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Perform and review Journal Entries, Accruals, Provisions, and Reclassifications.
- Manage Balance Sheet and Bank Reconciliations.
- Handle Fixed Assets, Depreciation, Depreciation, and GL Accounting.
- Prepare and review Trial Balance and financial reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP / IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Drive RCA, process improvement, SOP updates, and automation initiatives.
- Handle audit support and provide required schedules/documentation.
- Act as an SME for complex accounting queries and process escalations.
- As a Team Lead, manage team performance, KPI/SLA adherence, quality, productivity, coaching, and escalations.
- Coordinate with onshore stakeholders and ensure timely completion of close activities.
Mandatory Skills
- 5 years of experience in R2R / General Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GL Accounting and Month-End Close.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Journal Entries
- Accruals & Provisions
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Bank Reconciliation
- Intercompany Accounting
- Fixed Assets
- Variance Analysis
- Financial Reporting
- Good knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS.
- Robust Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP / Oracle / other ERP systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Prior SME / Team Lead / process ownership experience preferred.
Preferred ProfileR2R / RTR SME, Senior R2R Analyst, R2R Team Lead, GL Accounting SME, General Accounting Team Lead with strong experience in month-end close and financial accounting operations. .
