Overview
As a Resident Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer based in Bhubaneswar / Cuttack and responsible for managing business in Odisha & surrounding territories, your role involves working independently and reporting to the headquarters in Kolkata. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Exploring new areas, making cold calls, and arranging appointments
- Identifying opportunities and potential customers
- Conducting product presentations and marketing communications with customers
- Attending techno-commercial negotiations and closing deals
- Involving seniors in critical customer meetings
- Collaborating with the principal, inside support sales, and sales support team to close deals in favor of the company
- Managing account receivables
You should have your own mobility, either a 2 or 4-wheeler with a valid license, as the role requires extensive travel and a flair for technical sales. Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to capital equipment sales. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in the relevant domain and hold a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or a relevant field.
