Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through direct customer acquisition.
- Identify and approach potential customers through field visits, references, leads and local networking.
- Explain and sell health insurance products based on customer requirements.
- Manage the complete sales cycle lead generation, pitching, documentation, proposal submission and conversion.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and business numbers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for renewals and cross-sell opportunities.
- Conduct regular market visits and develop business within the assigned territory.
- Follow up on leads generated through company channels.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, pipeline and daily activity records.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, IRDAI guidelines and sales practices.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 15 years of experience in direct sales, preferably from:
- Health/Life/General Insurance
- BFSI
- Banking
- Broking
- Telecom
- Retail/FMCG or other target-driven sales
- Solid communication and convincing skills.
- Comfortable with field sales and customer meetings.
- Target-oriented and self-driven.
- Good local market knowledge and networking ability.
- Two-wheeler preferred/required, .
