' : - ( - ) Experience: 6+ yrs Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, Bengaluru, Karnataka, NCR, Pune, Telangana, Hyderabad, Mumbai Job Type: Full-time As an SAP APO ABAP Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and supporting technical solutions across SAP APO and connected enterprise systems. You will work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable SAP solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Core ABAP, SAP APO technical integration, CIF, reports, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and interfaces. You will also contribute to system troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support activities. For senior-level candidates, the role will additionally involve providing technical guidance, reviewing solutions, and contributing to architecture and integration decisions. Requirements Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain technical solutions using SAP ABAP and SAP APODevelop and enhance SAP APO technical objects, reports, interfaces, and integrationsWork extensively with CIF (Core Interface) for SAP APO integration with ECC and S/4HANA environmentsDevelop reports, ALV reports, function modules, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocsImplement and maintain BAdIs, user exits, enhancements, and custom developmentsTroubleshoot complex ABAP and SAP APO issues through debugging and root-cause analysisPerform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs and SAP APO technical processesDevelop and support interfaces between SAP APO, ECC/S/4HANA, and external applicationsCollaborate with functional consultants and business teams to understand requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutionsSupport SAP APO implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and production-support activitiesPrepare technical specifications, development documentation, and solution designsEnsure technical solutions follow SAP development standards, quality guidelines, and best practicesSupport integration testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production stabilizationFor senior-level roles, provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and review technical designs and deliverables What Makes You a Great Fit 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development with strong exposure to SAP APOStrong hands-on expertise in SAP APO ABAP Technical DevelopmentExcellent knowledge of Core ABAP, including reports, ALV, function modules, enhancements, BAdIs, and user exitsStrong experience with SAP APO technical integration and CIFPractical experience with BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, interfaces, and custom developmentsStrong debugging and performance-tuning capabilitiesExperience integrating SAP APO with ECC, S/4HANA, and external systemsAbility to analyse technical requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutionsStrong understanding of SAP development lifecycle, testing, documentation, and production supportExperience with SAP APO modules such as DP, SNP, PP/DS, or GATP is an advantageExposure to SAP IBP and APO-to-IBP integration is desirableKnowledge of ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData, SAP PI/PO, or middleware technologies is an advantageExperience with implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailGood communication and stakeholder-management skillsAbility to work effectively with functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholdersFor senior positions, proven experience providing technical leadership and mentoring SAP ABAP professionals is preferred .
