Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Development
Design and develop reports using:
Web Intelligence (WebI)
Crystal Reports
Analysis for Office
SAP Lumira (where applicable)
Create ad hoc reporting solutions for business users.
Develop complex queries, calculations, variables, and report formatting.
Build and maintain executive dashboards and KPI reports.
SAP BI Platform Administration
Install, configure, and administer SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.3 / BI 2025.
Manage CMS repositories, FRS servers, and server groups.
Configure authentication mechanisms:
Monitor platform health and availability.
Migration & Upgrade Activities
Participate in migrations from:
BO 4.2 to BO 4.3
BO 4.3 to BI 2025
Validate report compatibility and regression testing.
Perform repository migration and content promotion
Develop rollback and cutover strategies.
Security & Governance
Implement role-based security models.
Manage users, groups, and folder-level permissions.
Ensure compliance with organizational governance policies.
Support audit and access-control reviews.
Performance Optimization
Analyze report and query performance.
Optimize Universes, SQL generation, and report scheduling.
Configure caching and server tuning.
Troubleshoot production performance issues.

Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP BW and SAP HANA reporting.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS.
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD deployment processes.
Understanding of enterprise data governance and metadata management.
Qualifications: Graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. 4-6 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
