Job description Position: SAP Business One (B1) Administrator Manufacturing Industry Location: Dombivli / Badlapur Experience: 2 to 4 Years (Manufacturing sector preferred) Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview We are a manufacturing organization looking for a SAP Business One Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our SAP B1 ERP system with a strong focus on manufacturing operations. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for SAP B1 production, inventory, and MRP processes, ensuring system accuracy, process compliance, and smooth coordination between plant, stores, purchase, and finance teams. Key ResponsibilitiesSAP B1 Administration Manufacturing (Core Role) Administer, maintain, and monitor the SAP Business One system for manufacturing operations Manage Production Module including: Bill of Materials (BOM) Production Orders Work Orders Handle Inventory Management for: Raw Materials Work-in-Progress (WIP) Finished Goods Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and production scheduling Support store operations including: Goods Receipt (GRPO) Goods Issue Stock Transfers Configure and maintain SAP B1 workflows, approval processes, and production-related authorizations Generate and analyze: Production reports Inventory movement reports Consumption and variance reports Manage batch and serial number tracking and quality-related documentation Ensure accurate master data maintenance (items, BOMs, routings, warehouses) Perform system monitoring, data integrity checks, and coordination for backups Handle data uploads/downloads for item masters, vendor masters, BOMs, and production data Coordinate with production, stores, purchase, and finance teams for issue resolution Support SAP B1 upgrades, patches, and manufacturing add-on implementations Manufacturing Operations Support Enable real-time SAP B1 usage on the shop floor Support production planning based on sales demand Track: Material consumption Production output Cost variances Assist in stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and audit readiness Ensure ERP compliance with defined manufacturing processes Required Qualifications & SkillsEssential 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP Business One Administration Strong working knowledge of: Production Inventory MRP Purchasing modules Practical experience with BOMs, Production Orders, and manufacturing workflows Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP-driven production planning Technical & Educational Background Experience in SAP B1 reporting tools (Crystal Reports preferred) Understanding of batch management, serial numbers, and production costing Manufacturing Domain Knowledge Understanding of: Production cycles Material planning Inventory optimization Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs and operational reporting Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Clear communication with production and operations teams Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with time sensitivity Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams Compensation & Benefits Career growth in SAP ERP and manufacturing operations Exposure to end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle in SAP B1 Stable and growth-oriented manufacturing environment Preferred Candidates SAP B1 certified professionals Candidates from manufacturing / engineering industries Experience working closely with shop-floor and production teams Compensation: 400,000.00 - 500,000.00 per year Application Question(s) Current CTC and Expectation Reason for job change.
