SAP Data Volume Management (DVM) Administrator

Hiring: SAP Data Volume Management (DVM) Administrator Employment Type: Permanent Location: Hyderabad Important Requirement The candidate must be willing to: Travel to South Africa for long-term assignments. Work in the South Africa time zone until relocation. Role: SAP Data Volume Management (DVM) Administrator Experience 5+ years of relevant SAP experience. Experience with SAP ERP, SAP BW, and SAP CAR is preferred. SAP Certification is preferred, or 35 years of SAP Retail Support/SAP ERP experience. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate end-to-end SAP data archiving implementations with business stakeholders and SAP technical/functional teams. Coordinate documentation, testing, and sign-off activities with business and support teams. Analyze database and table growth and align archiving strategies with business processes. Perform object-level data analysis and monitor database growth. Schedule, execute, and monitor data archiving jobs. Monitor archive administration and resolve failed or incomplete archive sessions. Create and configure SAP archiving objects. Perform technical customization related to SAP Data Archiving. Implement pre- and post-archiving activities. Activate and maintain Archive Information Structures. Set up and monitor periodic archive jobs and archive execution runs. Assist business and support teams in identifying housekeeping activities. Support archive document retrieval and provide user guidance/training where required. Participate in storage migration testing and SAP upgrade testing related to archiving. Consult on solution design while considering legal and business compliance requirements. Required Technical Skills Strong knowledge of SAP Data Volume Management and SAP Data Archiving. Good understanding of SAP system landscapes and architecture. Knowledge of System Integration and Intermediate Documents (IDocs). SAP Archive Development Kit (ADK). Technical customization and archive object configuration. Database monitoring and performance analysis. Strong troubleshooting and analytical/problem-solving skills. Experience with application operations, business processes, and process integration. Preferred Skills SAP Certification. Experience in SAP Retail environments. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a global support environment. Compensation: 11,166.91 - 56,191.10 per month Work Location: In person .
