Job Summary On behalf of our India-based client in the Automotive & Manufacturing Technology sector, we are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant specialized in the design and configuration of the SAP Sales and Distribution module. The position requires hands-on expertise in pricing, account determination, revenue recognition, and SAP SD user exits, along with strong proficiency in ABAP debugging and cross-functional module integration. This is a remote engagement with flexible options for full-time, part-time, or contract-based employment Key Responsibilities Design and configure the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module to meet business requirementsWork with SAP SD user exits for sales order, delivery, and billing processesConfigure and support SD pricing proceduresSupport SD account assignment and revenue recognition processesDebug and troubleshoot SAP ABAP code related to SD functionalityWrite functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom programs and interfacesSupport intercompany postings and pro forma invoice processesCollaborate on integration between SD and other SAP modules Required Skills Specialized experience in design and configuration of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) moduleExperience with SAP SD user exits for sales order, delivery, and billingGood knowledge of SD pricingUnderstanding of SD account assignment and revenue recognition processesKnowledge of SAP ABAP with debugging skills Good to Have Ability to debug ABAPExperience performing SAP configurations in the SD areaExperience writing functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom programs and interfacesExperience with intercompany postings and pro forma invoicesExperience with integration across other SAP modules AI Experience Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for ABAP debugging or documentation is a plusInterest in applying AI-assisted tools to accelerate configuration testing and specification writing Managerial Experience As an individual contributor, the role requires the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with cross-functional SAP teams and business stakeholders. Operational Experience Experience supporting live SAP SD configurations in production environmentsExperience with intercompany postings, pro forma invoices, and cross-module integration in production supportExperience debugging and resolving ABAP-related issues impacting SD processes Qualifications Bachelors degree (any discipline)7 to 15 years of relevant hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and supportCapable of working independently and managing responsibilities effectively within a remote, geographically distributed team.
