Overview

In this role at EY, you will be part of the Transformation Design & Execution (TD&E) practice where you will play a crucial role in helping clients successfully deliver business transformations by connecting strategy and execution. Your primary focus will be on designing and integrating technology and business processes to create value-driven solutions encompassing various capabilities such as demand intake & prioritization, portfolio scenario planning, financial management, program/portfolio/transformation execution, schedule management, risk & issue management, resource management, KPI definition, performance reporting, and data analytics via dashboards. **Key Responsibilities as Scrum Master:** - Guide and coach the Scrum Team on utilizing Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to customers - Elevate the team to a high-performing level by identifying areas of strength and improvement, and implementing suitable coaching and development techniques - Ensure understanding of Scrum principles and adherence to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines within the team - Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge, and effective communication both internally and externally - Collaborate with Scrum Team, internal and external stakeholders to influence decision making and support organizational project or product teams - Resolve team impediments in collaboration with other Scrum Masters to enhance the application of Scrum within the organization - Work with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to enhance skills and exhibit Servant leadership qualities - Contribute to the advancement and enhancement of Agile practices within the organization - Facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective **Core skills required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Agile delivery methodologies - Experience in Banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector, including knowledge of various domains such as Cards, Payments, Commercial banking, Core banking, Investment banking, Capital markets, Regulatory, Wealth and Asset management (WAM), etc. - Demonstrated Agile project delivery experience, including working in Scaled Agile frameworks, Portfolio and Product management using Agile tools, methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) - Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, Smartsheet, with Power BI knowledge considered an advantage - Strong verbal and written communication skills, stakeholder management abilities, and experience in presenting to executive sponsors and technical/non-technical staff at all levels - Good understanding of the IT landscape (infrastructure and applications) of a Bank/Financial institution - Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies as per project and program requirements - Possession of one or more Industry certifications such as PMI-ACP, PSM, CSM, A-CSM, PSM, SAFe, CSPO - Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), MS Project, and MS Server At EY, the focus is on building a better working world by creating long-term value for clients, people, and society while fostering trust in the capital markets.
