Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and services to support multiple products and platforms.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure smooth integration between backend and frontend systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Optimize backend performance to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure rapid resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and team processes.
- Stay updated with emerging backend development trends and technologies to continuously enhance system architecture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in a startup or fast-paced workplace.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js (mandatory) and working knowledge of React.js.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
