About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our new Noida branch operations. You will be responsible for managing comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining financial integrity for the organization. Reporting directly to the Korean Branch Head, you will play a critical role in establishing robust financial operations for our expansion into North India.
This is a managerial-level position offering significant responsibility and exposure to Korean business processes and international accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complete accounts operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management
Handle GST compliance, GST returns filing, and GST reconciliation
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards
Manage TDS and Income Tax compliance, including TDS certificate generation and tax filing
Conduct and coordinate tax audits, responding to auditor queries and maintaining audit documentation
Process foreign currency transactions, manage remittance documentation, and ensure RBI compliance for international payments
Oversee import and export accounting, customs documentation, and trade-related financial transactions
Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and financial analytics for senior management
Maintain statutory compliance across PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and applicable labour laws
Reconcile bank statements, manage cash flow, and prepare cash flow forecasts
Manage ERP/accounting software operations and data integrity
Coordinate with Korean management on financial reporting and accounting standards
Prepare budgets, variance analysis, and financial forecasts
Support internal and external audits with required documentation
Handle accounts finalization and year-end closing procedures
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company data
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Company Secretary (CS) preferred; or equivalent accounting qualification
Proficiency with Indian tax and accounting regulations
Experience
10 years of total accounting experience in finance and accounting roles
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Korean company or multinational organization
Proven experience in construction or manufacturing industry accounting
Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
Experience in financial statement preparation and tax audit coordination
Background in foreign currency transactions and RBI compliance
Preferred Experience
Experience in ERP implementations (Tally, SAP, or equivalent systems)
Exposure to Korean business practices and accounting standards
Experience setting up accounting operations for new branch or facility
Background in manufacturing or construction sector
Previous experience reporting to Korean management
Knowledge of import-export accounting and customs regulations
Technical Skills
Accounting Software: Tally ERP 9, SAP, QuickBooks (proficiency required)
GST & Tax Compliance: GST filing, TDS calculation, Income Tax returns, tax audit coordination
Financial Systems: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation
Foreign Currency Management: Remittance documentation, Foreign Exchange Gain/Loss accounting, RBI compliance
Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Data Analysis, Reporting, Financial Modeling
Statutory Compliance: PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Law provisions
Financial Reporting: Balance Sheet preparation, P&L Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Management Reports
Import-Export Accounting: Customs documentation, trade receivables, landed cost calculation
