Senior Accountant and Account Assistant (UK Accounting Knowledge)

Job Description: Location: Vadodara, Gujarat Employment Type: Full-time Working Hours: UK Shift About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant and Account Assistant with hands-on UK accounting experience to join our growing KPO team. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of UK bookkeeping and accounting processes, be confident communicating directly with UK clients, and be able to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Manage bookkeeping for UK-based clients.Prepare management accounts, year-end accounts, and working papers.Complete bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and account reconciliations.Prepare and review financial statements.Assist with corporation tax and self-assessment information where required.Liaise directly with UK clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings.Handle client queries professionally and provide timely updates.Review the work of junior team members and provide guidance.Meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and compliance.Required Skills & Experience 38 years (senior accountant) and 1-3 years (Account Assistant) of UK accounting/KPO experience.Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and bookkeeping.Experience with Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, Dext, Hubdoc, or similar accounting software.Knowledge of VAT, and year-end accounting.Excellent spoken and written English.Confident communicating with UK clients.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Preferred Qualifications B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, ACCA (part-qualified or qualified), or equivalent.Experience working with UK accounting firms is an advantage.What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience.Career growth opportunities.Professional and supportive work environment.If you have a passion for UK accounting and enjoy working directly with international clients, we'd love to hear from you.
