About the Role Our Client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to support its finance function from India while closely collaborating with the finance and leadership teams in the United States. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, coupled with a sound understanding of US accounting principles (US GAAP). This role requires excellent financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a global business environment .

Manage the complete accounting cycle in compliance with US GAAP and company polici
es.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Oversee General Ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing.Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, standard costing, BOM costing, overhead allocation, and variance analysis.Analyze production costs, inventory movements, and plant performance to improve operational efficiency.Partner with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.Support budgeting, forecasting, cost planning, and profitability analysis.Coordinate with the US Finance team on reporting, compliance, audits, and financial planning.Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with corporate financial policies.Drive process improvements, ERP optimization, and automation initiativ es.

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 610 years of post-qualification experi
ence.Minimum 45 years of experience in a manufacturing organization.Strong knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to US accounting practices.Hands-on experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing finance.Experience working with US-based stakeholders or multinational manufacturing companies will be highly preferred.Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar manufacturing ERP platforms.Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and MIS reporting.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management sk ills.

Work Schedule
The position is based in India and follows Indian working hours (IST). The role involves regular interaction with colleagues and stakeholders in the United States;
therefore, flexibility to attend occasional meetings outside normal business hours, when required, i s expected. .
