Senior AI Evals QA Tester || 6+ Years || Card and Payments (Reconciliation and chargebacks Process) Location: Kochi, Kerala Experience Senior QA Engineer: 5-8 Years QA Lead: 8 - 12+ Years Employment Type Full-Time About the Role We are looking for experienced Senior QA Engineers and QA Leads with a strong background in Banking, Payments, or FinTech to join our growing engineering team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of mission-critical financial applications while driving automation and quality engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans.Perform Manual and Automation Testing for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.Validate payment processing, transaction workflows, reconciliation, and settlement processes.Conduct API, Database, Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing.Implement and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.Perform mutation testing and promote modern quality engineering practices.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.Ensure compliance with financial, security, and regulatory standards.Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency. QA Lead Additional Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers.Define QA strategy, test governance, and quality metrics.Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement.Manage test planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.Review test artifacts, reports, and quality dashboards. Required Skills Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing.API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.Database testing using SQL.Performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools.Automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.Experience with defect management tools such as Jira.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Domain Experience Mandatory experience in one or more of the following: BankingFinTechDigital PaymentsPayment GatewaysCard ProcessingTransaction ProcessingFinancial Services Preferred Qualifications Experience in payment reconciliation and settlement testing.Knowledge of ISO 8583, PCI-DSS, or financial messaging standards.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
