01Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development and C Programming
Develop, modify, test, and maintain application software using the C programming language. Implement algorithms and control logic for embedded, communication, GNSS, and VLSI based systems. Debug software using logs, test outputs, hardware observations, and system-level measurements. Review C code for functionality, modularity, and compliance with project requirements. 2. GNSS and Communication-System Supporthttps:
Work with GNSS concepts such as satellite navigation, signal acquisition, tracking, positioning, timing, and receiver operation. Support testing and validation of GNSS-related hardware and software modules. Understand and work with digital modulation schemes such as: BPSK, QPSK and FSK 3. Collaboration with the VLSI Team
Work closely with the VLSI design, FPGA, RTL, and verification teams during system development and validation. Assist in validating RTL or FPGA functionality from an application and system-level perspective. 4. System-Level Testing and Validation
Take ownership of overall system-level functionality testing. Prepare and execute functional test cases, integration test procedures, and validation checklists. Verify end-to-end operation across hardware, firmware, software, communication, and user interface components. Validate system inputs, outputs, interfaces, connectivity, control functions, and identify functional gaps, reproduce failures, perform preliminary root-cause analysis, and coordinate issue closure.
5. Team Handling and Technical Coordination
Guide and coordinate junior application engineers, software engineers, and test engineers for Allocate tasks, monitor progress, review technical outputs, and ensure timely completion. Conduct technical discussions, code reviews, test-result reviews, and issue-resolution meetings. Coordinate activities between VLSI, embedded software, signal-processing, hardware, testing, and field-support teams. 6. Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and maintain: Software design and interface documents, Test plans and test procedures along with System validation reports Document test results, observations, limitations, corrective actions, and closure status. 7. Customer and Field Support
Participate in customer technical discussions, demonstrations, system integration, and acceptance activities. Support installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and demonstration of systems at customer locations. Required Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of C programming. Good understanding of embedded-software development and debugging. Knowledge of GNSS fundamentals, including positioning, timing, signal acquisition, and tracking concepts.
