01Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate General Accounting (General Ledger) to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, leading month-end close activities, and supporting reporting and compliance requirements. This position requires strong analytical skills, accounting knowledge, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead and perform day-to-day general ledger accounting activities including Cash Bank entries, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, Intercompany and account reconciliations
- Oversee and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review balance sheet and PL reconciliations in accordance with internal controls and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and FPA to ensure consistent financial data
YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Masters /bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4-6 years of progressive experience in general ledger or financial accounting roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and internal controls
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups)
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace
- Experience in multinational or shared services environments
- Exposure to financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Power BI)

- Work with other team members who are connected to the process to coordinate all process / transactional dots and strengthen the process understanding and process control
- Be a SME, to make sure there is proper control on the period activity which helps to understand all DR/CR balances
