Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description Job Purpose The ICE MT Compliance team is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who has experience in the Mortgage domain. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining automation test frameworks and automation test scripts. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires frequent interactions with project and product managers, developers, QA and other stakeholders, to ensure delivery of a world class compliance solution to our users. Responsibilities Develop, update and maintain automated test scripts.Enhance and extend automation libraries and frameworksBuild Testing Tools and Mock ServicesAbility to blend analytical/technical skills to test functionality, build test scripts and view the product from Customer perspective.Interact effectively across multiple teams and functions.Willingness to be adaptable with a team first focus.Participate in demos, retrospectives, and contribute to continuous improvements.Diagnose problems and report bugs/observationsWork closely with Product, Developers, QA and other project team members to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions.Work closely with functional test engineers to ensure the test cases are automated as documented.May require overtime or off-peak hours to meet commitments. Knowledge and Experience Computer Science Degree or equivalent from a fully accredited college or university.6+ years of experience in Software Development or Quality EngineeringExperience working in the Mortgage Domain preferable on a Loan Origination System.Excellent analytical skillsAbility to analyze requirements, develop a test plan/strategy, create and execute test cases, track defects and report resultsStrong knowledge of object-oriented programming languagesFamiliarity with JSON and XMLProficient in testing Web Based/Client Server based applicationsMust have in depth knowledge in automating AWS, API, RESTful web service testing using JAVAMust have experience in Database (Mysql, SQLserver)Must have experience with Logging tools such as Splunk, Kibana, etc.Must have in-depth knowledge in using TestNG, Maven and Jenkins.Self-motivated, able to learn and research independentlyAbility to innovate and optimizeAbility to effectively communicate relevant project information with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication. .
