About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure APIM Engineer to design, implement, secure, and manage enterprise API solutions using Azure API Management (APIM). You will play a key role in API modernization, governance, CI/CD automation, production support, and enterprise integration across Microsoft Azure environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
Configure APIM policies for authentication, authorization, routing, transformation, rate limiting, caching, logging, and error handling.
Support API migration and modernization from MuleSoft to Azure APIM.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Configure API monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
Troubleshoot API, security, networking, performance, and production issues.
Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, release validation, and operational excellence.
Perform API policy reviews, code reviews, and deployment reviews.
Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with Architects, DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, and Development teams.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to API governance and best practices.
