Build the backend of Anaira's platform - the services, APIs, and workflows that carry risk decisions across the full lifecycle and integrate with AI agents and automation.
Responsibilities
Build backend services in Java
Develop microservices, APIs, and asynchronous workflows
Build systems that integrate with AI agents and automation workflows
Design scalable, secure, and observable backend platforms
Work closely with product, domain experts, and customers
Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture decisions
Skills
Java Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data JPA) and microservices architecture
PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and polyglot persistence
Docker, Kubernetes, and API-first design
Security (JWT, OAuth2); testing (JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers)
Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing)
Preferred
Neo4j, Elasticsearch, event sourcing, CQRS, Domain-Driven Design
Business process engines, workflow orchestration
Insurance domain knowledge (policies, claims, underwriting)
GitOps and CI/CD pipeline experience
