Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with robust expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, load balancing, fault tolerance, and resilient application design.
Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
Hands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Robust knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL/DataStore, including performance optimisation and query tuning.
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment strategies.
Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability tools, including Grafana, Datadog, and Loki.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimisation skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot. AI And Modern Engineering Experience (Positive To Have) Experience integrating LLMs (Large Language Models) or generative AI.
Exposure to AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, Spring AI, OpenAI APIs, Google Vertex AI, or similar AI platforms.
Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
