About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior BFF (Backend for Frontend) Engineer with expertise in Node.js, GraphQL, and eCommerce platforms . You will design and build scalable Backend-for-Frontend services that power modern web and mobile applications by seamlessly connecting frontend applications with backend microservices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain BFF services using Node.js
Build and optimize GraphQL APIs and resolvers
Integrate multiple REST APIs and microservices into a unified API layer
Optimize API performance using Redis caching , batching, and efficient data fetching
Collaborate with frontend, product, and UX teams to deliver tailored APIs
Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API governance
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions
Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and reliability
Required Skills
8+ years of backend development experience
Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
Hands-on experience with GraphQL (Apollo Server / GraphQL Yoga)
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
Experience with Redis , Git , and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Agile development practices
Mandatory Domain Experience
