01Overview
We are looking for a Senior Power BI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade analytics solutions. In this role, you will create scalable data models, build dynamic dashboards, and lead key migration initiatives, including transitioning legacy report suites like SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) to Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy high-performing, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business requirements.
Architect robust, scalable data models (Star and Snowflake schemas) to optimize report performance and usability.
Write advanced, complex DAX expressions for calculated columns, measures, and time-intelligence functions.
Drive end-to-end migration projects from legacy platforms (specifically SAP BO) to Power BI, including semantic layer translation and report redesign.
Optimize report query performance, refresh schedules, and row-level security (RLS) policies within the Power BI Service environment.
Collaborate with data engineering and business stakeholders to align visual analytics with backend data structures.
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
Power BI & Development: Expert-level experience in end-to-end Power BI report design, workspace administration, and deployment.
DAX: Advanced mastery of DAX for complex business logic, aggregation, and performance tuning.
Data Modeling: Proven expertise in dimensional modeling, relationships, granularity, and star-schema design.
Dashboarding: Deep expertise in UX/UI principles for visual storytelling, report navigation, and user adoption.
SAP BO Conversion: Hands-on experience converting SAP BusinessObjects (Universes, Web Intelligence / WebI reports) into modern Power BI solutions.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in SQL for direct data validation, view creation, and source-level querying.
Experience with Power BI Deployment Pipelines, ALM Toolkit, or Git integration for version control.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into practical analytics tools.
Compensation: 800,000.00 - 1,600,000.00 per year
