Job Title: Business Analyst Fund Accounting Location: Pune Experience: 812 Years Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Fund Accounting and Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Mutual Funds, ETFs, Alternative Investments, and SWIFT messaging, along with a strong understanding of the Trade Lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Work as a Business Analyst in the Fund Accounting domain, supporting front-to-back investment operations Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders Collaborate with technology teams to translate requirements into functional specifications Manage end-to-end lifecycle of trade processing, including trade capture, validation, settlement, and reconciliation Support Mutual Funds, ETFs, and Alternative Funds (ALT Funds) workflows Interpret and validate SWIFT MT messages (any one or more: MT502, MT509, MT515, MT540MT546) Drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency Perform impact analysis, UAT support, and defect management Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards Required Skills & Experience 812 years of experience in Fund Accounting / Capital Markets domain Strong domain knowledge in: Mutual Funds Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) Alternative Investments (ALT Funds) Good understanding of SWIFT Messaging (MT502 / MT509 / MT515 / MT540MT546 at least one mandatory) Solid understanding of Trade Lifecycle processes Experience in requirement gathering, BRD/FRD preparation, and stakeholder management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience working in investment banks, asset management firms, or financial services Exposure to regulatory reporting and reconciliation processes Certification or exposure in finance/domain tools will be an added advantage Additional Details Candidate should be available to join immediately Willingness to work in Pune location is mandatory Experience Level Mid Level .
